Abacus Care & Support

Who we are

Who we are

OUR STORY

From care...

Our founding team have worked in health and social care roles across the decades.

All too often we’ve seen a lack of personalisation in care. But we’ve also observed that when people do receive specialist support as unique as them, they are empowered not just to survive, but to thrive.

In 2019, the Abacus story began. We set out to ensure that people who need it can access suitable housing, specialist care, and the support to do what matters to them – all within one package.

...to community.

We believe that adults with additional needs have a great deal to offer the world (and have the right to expect a lot from it, too).

Those we support contribute to the beautiful diversity of society, and their needs are just as unique. When those needs are truly met, our clients lead lives that are liberating and full of joy.

As a family-run company, community is really important to us.

Everyone deserves to belong. Everyone gets to join in.

Abacus is not simply a ‘care and support provider’ – it’s a community. And we’re inviting you to ‘join in’.
